Martial Arts Brutality ("the App") is developed and published by Cold Beam Games Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data is collected when you use the App and how it is used.
The App has online features — leaderboards, bounties and player-versus-player challenges — which need a player account. Your account is created automatically from your platform account, so there is nothing to fill in and no password to choose. We store:
We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, contacts or photos, and we do not ask you to create a password. We only collect an email address if you choose to receive email notifications in the PC version (see below).
So that your progress is preserved across devices and online features work, we store your saved game on our servers. This includes your experience, rank and belt, fight record, card collection and decks, story progress, in-game currency and purchase entitlements, character appearance, and fight statistics.
iOS and Android: we store a push notification token for your device so we can tell you when an opponent has taken their turn or challenged you. A push token identifies your installation of the App for notification delivery only; it does not contain your name or contact details. Whether notifications are shown is controlled by you in your device settings.
PC (Steam): if you turn on email notifications in the App's options, we store the email address you enter and use it only to email you about your fights. Turning email notifications off in the same screen removes the address.
The App has online leaderboards, a bounty system and asynchronous player-versus-player challenges. The following is visible to other players:
When you send or accept a challenge, your nickname and account identifier are sent to your opponent's device so that the App can match the two of you up. Your platform account itself is not shared.
Please note: notifications about a fight are sent by the App on your opponent's device. To do that, it receives your notification details along with your player statistics — your push notification token, or on PC the email address you entered for email notifications. These details are not displayed in the game. If you would prefer your email address not to be shared in this way, leave email notifications turned off.
The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect data independently:
On iOS and Android we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. In the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, AdMob will request your consent before serving personalised ads, in accordance with GDPR. You can choose to see non-personalised ads instead. The PC (Steam) version does not show advertisements.

Signing in to Apple Game Center, Google Play Games or Steam lets the App create your account and submit achievements and leaderboard scores. Those services handle your data under their own privacy policies.
Our game servers run on Amazon Web Services. Notification emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service, and push notifications are sent through Amazon Simple Notification Service, which delivers them via Apple Push Notification service (iOS) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android). These providers process your email address or push token only to deliver the notification.
When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple, Google or Valve. We do not receive or store your payment information.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your account and saved game data are retained for as long as your account exists, so that you can return to your progress. Leaderboard and bounty data are retained for as long as those services are active. Push notification tokens are retained until they are replaced or your account is deleted. A PC notification email address is retained until you turn email notifications off in the App's options, or your account is deleted. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your account and saved game data.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and to withdraw consent for personalised advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below — please include your nickname so we can find your account. For data collected by Google AdMob, refer to Google's privacy controls.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
